Flights From Nassau (NAS) To Staniel Cay
If you are connecting through Nassau, the flight to Staniel Cay takes about 30 minutes. One carrier operates on a published schedule. The other two fly private charter, which means you book the aircraft rather than a seat.
Build in a long connection at Nassau. International arrivals clear customs and re-check bags before transferring to the domestic terminal, and the transfer is not quick.
Scheduled flights between Nassau and Staniel Cay, Sunday through Friday. Titan Air does not fly on Saturdays. If your travel dates put you in Nassau on a Saturday, route through Fort Lauderdale instead or book a private charter.

Welcome to one of the smallest and friendliest airports in the Bahamas. The Staniel Cay airport is a 3,030 ft paved runway, with an open air terminal, that sits just over a mile from the village.
If you are picturing a busy terminal, think smaller. There is no jet bridge, no baggage carousel, no rental counter, and no security line. You will step off the plane right onto the ramp, your bags will come off just behind you, and you will be on your way in no time. Staniel Cay is not a port of entry, so you will clear customs elsewhere before arrival.
Flying your own aircraft to Staniel Cay
Flying yourself in? Here is what you will want to know before you file. Runway 17/35 is asphalt, roughly 3,030 by 75 feet, with a field elevation of 5 feet and three private hangars on site.
A couple of things to plan around. There is no fuel available at Staniel Cay, so top off before you head over. Staniel Cay is also not a port of entry, which means you will clear customs at Nassau, Exuma International, or another designated airport of entry on the way in.
The field does not publish a METAR and there are no navigational aids nearby, so it is worth confirming current runway conditions, operating hours, and customs requirements before your trip. Information on small Bahamian fields can go out of date quickly.

Arriving By Boat
Traveling to Staniel Cay by boat? Staniel Cay has more dockage than you would guess, once you know where to look.
Staniel Cay Yacht Club is the main marina, with slips, moorings, fuel, fresh water, ice, and full services for visiting vessels. Isles General has a smaller dock closer to the village.
Beyond those two, there are several private docks around the island available for rent that you will not find listed anywhere online. If the marina is full, or you would rather tie up somewhere quieter, just let us know. We know who to ask and we are happy to help you find a spot.
